Contractor NICEIC accreditation

Zac Dorn has been brushing up his technical skills by going back to college to ensure he was up to date with the technical requirements of NICEIC. After achieving C&G 2382 BS7671:2008 17th Edition and C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing qualifications this hard work finally paid off. On 17th of February 2011 IDS received NICEIC Approved Contractor status. Zac stated “this will give our customers peace of mind that the World Class ABB inverters are being installed to the high standards set out by this regulatory body”

ISO 9001:2008

IDS has a long history of delivering high quality ABB products thoroughly and professionally. Offering first class service, installation and back-up with our fully skilled engineers and efficient business team. We are pleased to announce that IDS has been successfully externally accredited by UKAS registered IMS International LLP to the Quality Management Standard, BS EN ISO 9001: 2008. This has been a team effort, led by IDS Health and Safety and Quality Manager – David Newton

OHSAS 18001:2007 

As if David Newton didn’t have enough to cope with, he decided that whilst obtaining our Quality Management Standard accreditation, because of the serious nature of our work we should also have our Health and Safety management system inspected too! Again David led IDS to another successful audit and IDS are now also approved to OHSAS 18001:2007 - Standard for Health & Safety. This involved site visits to ensure that all the documentation was complete and procedures were followed to the letter.
