Previously called the Drives Alliance, the most recent name to this elite partnership is ABB Authorized Value Provider – or to give it its most recent incarnation “Value Provider”. A badge we are very proud to display wherever we can.
That is all well and good but if you have been searching for an ABB Authorized Value Provider, you might not realise the newest name for the partnership is ABB Value Provider. Now we have updated you on the title, you might be wondering what exactly does being an ABB “Value Provider” mean?
ABB describe the partnership as:

The ABB Value Provider Program is a global channel partner program for distributors, wholesalers, panel builders, installers, service providers, system integrators, or power product OEMs. Authorized members of this premium program are called ABB Value Providers.
The authorization program is a procedure to guarantee that the services the customer receives from the ABB Value Providers are on the same leading level as the quality of the ABB products, both globally and locally. Once authorized as ABB Value Provider, our partners have in-depth knowledge of local markets and are conversant with the defined ABB products and processes.”

To be an ABB Value Provider, we are audited by ABB, our engineers and sales team are trained to stringent and exacting standards and need to successfully complete assessments for us to maintain our coveted status.
There are 3 levels of Authorised Value Provider (AVP) for Inverters.
Sales – Only authorised to sell ABB drives
Sales & Support – Authorised to sell and install ABB drives
Sales, Support & Service – Authorised to sell, install and support ABB drives
IDS are authorised to the highest level for both industrial and HVAC inverters. Being an ABB value provider means we are trusted by ABB to specify, supply, install, commission, hire, repair and service ABB Inverters.
