How to Commission an ACS580 Inverter
We begin with the keypad. This video will show you how easy it is to set up the ACS580 inverter using the very compact, dynamic keypad. We show you how to:
- Set the date and time
- We look at the option to change the allocated name, the default will be ACS580 but you can change this to the machine name.
- In the video we show you how to set up the inverter with the motor, you will see the new ACS580 keypad is a lot more intuitive compared to the old keypads.
- The video shows you how to change each setting and parameter including, the motor type, current, voltage, frequency, speed, power, torque and control mode. With the ACS580 drive you don’t have to remember parameter numbers anymore! And there you have it the inverter is commissioned.
