Inverter Drive Systems Ltd Celebrate 20 Years: Founded in 1999 by Manging Director, Blaise Ford, Inverter Drive Systems Ltd (IDS) are celebrating 20 years!

Focusing solely on inverter technology, East Midlands company IDS, specify, supply, install, commission, repair, upgrade, hire and service inverters.

With solid foundations in the family run engineering company Wilson Ford Ltd, Blaise Ford set up IDS becoming an ABB Drives Distributor. To this day, IDS are proud to be an ABB Value Provider (VP) for Variable Speed Drives (inverters).

So, IDS are also celebrating 20 years as an ABB partner, currently called a Value Provider (VP), which means IDS are authorised to sell, support and service ABB inverters and are authorised to carry out warranty support activities for ABB. Having worked closely with the multinational, engineering giant for the past 20 years, here is what ABB have to say about the 20-year long relationship:
