For the first time there was an ‘e bike’ with us – Frank Ciaurro set this bike to ‘turbo’ and off he flew. Unfortunately, 12 miles from Skegness, the battery expired and Frank had the world’s heaviest…

What is the point of ESOS?

We spoke to Lorraine Famiglietti of IDS regarding ESOS. A mandatory European programme to implement energy audits into large organisations. Here is what she had to say. “Those subject to ESOS get to find out how wasteful their energy usage is, but is there a comeback to change anything they find?  No. Perhaps there should be, if companies find they are using too much electricity and they do nothing about it should they be held…

If Only They Had Focused On Commercial and Industrial Energy

The Telegraph reported in July about the Government axing the poorly thought out Green Deal initiative. I have to say when this was launched initially I had such high hopes. With much searching and digging I found that inverters or rather energy efficiency improvements to commercial air handling units were going to be included. Then we found out the Green Deal was a ‘loan’ with rather complex and convoluted terms and conditions making the prospect rather undesirable and…

IDS at Multimodal

As avid followers of our social media accounts will know, we recently exhibited at MultiModal 2015. Multimodal is a freight transport, logistics and supply chain management event enjoying it’s ninth year. This was our first time at the show in any capacity and we were pleasantly surprised by the positive interest shown, doubtless down to the great achievements we can make on commercial and industrial energy saving. This is not an entirely new industry for us as we have…
